I am a licensed independent clinical social worker, certified in DBT and school social work. I am a member of Therapy First and was recently in the media for blowing the whistle about my concern over my previous employer mandating “gender affirming care” for minors. I strongly believe in providing young people a safe, non-judgmental place to figure out who they are and what they want for their life.
I care deeply about the work I do and very much enjoy working with adolescents. While I utilize a variety of therapeutic approaches in the work I do, I think the most important aspect of the therapeutic process is the therapeutic relationship. It’s my top priority to make sure my clients feel seen, heard, cared about, and respected.
At this time, I am licensed to work with WA State residents and am providing telehealth only services.
I am in the process of being paneled with Regence, Premera, Lifewise, First Choice, Kaiser, and United Healthcare, but am accepting only out-of-network/private-pay clients at this time.
